Bill continues his tribute by sharing the works of Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, and Franz Liszt with performances by Arthur Rubinstein alone, Charles Rosin and Richard Goode accompanied by orchestras, plus Yo-Yo Ma, Evgeny Kissin, the Juilliard Quartet with Leonard Bernstein, Dawn Upshaw, George Szell, Emanuel Ax, and Van Cliburn.

The multicultural ensemble Sarband, joined by The King’s Singers, present “Sacred Bridges,” an exploration of the complex intertwining between Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, as seen through settings of the timeless Psalms of David. The program features polyphonic psalm settings by Claude Goudimel and Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, paired with Alî Ufkî’s powerful Turkish lyrics and monophony.
