Best of Studs Terkel
Big Bill Broonzy and Pete Seeger (c. 1952)
On a cold morning in 1952, Studs Terkel introduced two musicians he admired both personally and professionally: the legendary blues artist Big Bill Bronzy and folk singer Pete Seeger. This historic broadcast is one of the earliest surviving programs Studs made for WFMT; his then-weekly program, the Almanac, was heard live on Sunday mornings.
